"We were getting ready to lose the engine. It was a great run for the Wood Brothers/JTG group, awesome on pit road. Great Ford F-150 here. They sure did deserve to win. I just can't seem to get it done for them."
IT LOOKED LIKE THE 21 COULD BE THE TRUCK TO BEAT TODAY. "It was awfully good. The guys were on the money on pit road. The truck was fabulous. These guys deserve to win. I just can't get the deal closed for them."
RICK CRAWFORD -- No. 14 Power Stroke Diesel by International Ford F-150 (finished 6th)
"We used the whole race track, making bold moves for the F-Series pick-up. The Ford Power Stroke Diesel International with Roush-Yates under the hood had a fun drive today from 27th to sixth. I hated where we started, but we don't give up here. You don't see 'Give Up' written on Rick Crawford's forehead -- especially when we're in the hometown of Detroit. I drove some real nice vehicles this week at the Ford Proving Grounds, and all these people in the grandstands need to go buy one. We need to up the sales because we've got some great products. Quality is Job One and they're built Ford tough."
"There at the beginning, we were using lanes there wasn't, and then at the end they were using my lanes. So, we made it up to sixth, but we couldn't make it any further. I'm really proud of my guys. They worked really hard. Had to work on the truck for three-quarters of the race, and they let me drive the last quarter and try to run up front."
DAVID STARR -- No. 10 International/MAXX Force Diesel Ford F-150 (finished 13th)
"I'm a little disappointed. My International/MAXX Force Diesel Ford F-150 was pretty awesome all race long. It seemed like the last 20 laps it just got loose on me. I thought we were going have a shot to get up there and race with the guys up front. It seemed like the last caution came out and my truck was too loose. I could run up and get up on the outside and get back to the gas real quick and steal the position from them, but the last 20 laps it just lost all grip in the rear and I was doing everything to hang on. I'm just disappointed because we were moving forward and all of sudden we just fell back there at the end. We gave it all we got. Our team's turning it around, so I'm pretty happy about. Our Ford F-150 was good today. My teammate, Rick Crawford, finished good today, so that was a good day for Circle Bar Racing. We're getting there; we just got to keep working hard."
