No. 30 Allman Brothers Band Toyota Tundra
Career at Memphis Motorsports Park:
Todd Bodine will have many firsts in the Craftsman Truck Series this season and driving the No. 30 Allman Brothers Band Toyota Tundra at the Memphis Motorsports Park will be another. Bodine has had two previous starts at the track in the NASCAR Busch Series.
Bodine Comments on Memphis Motorsports Park:
"Memphis is a pretty tough track but it's wide and has room to race. The track has some bumps but both corners really make it difficult. Turns one and two are really fast like Richmond and turns three and four are slower much sharper. It's difficult to get the truck to handle the same at both ends of the racetrack. Memphis creates a pretty good challenge for the crew chief and then it's up to the driver to try to make up the difference and drive the truck differently so it will handle well at both ends. It's a hard setup for the driver to relay to the crew chief but I know Mike Jr., my crew chief will have it all figured out for race day. This Germain Racing team knows the setups on the truck and our communication is excellent so if it doesn't have exactly what it needs we'll be able to figure it out."
Bodine Comments on being on the heals of the Top-10 in Points and the Points Chase:
Todd is currently 33 points out of the 10th place point's position and 350 points back from the point's leader Dennis Setzer.
"We're going to take each race as it comes and do the best we can. Right now we are focused on going to win races every week and if we can't win we'll get the best finish we can for the points. We haven't given up on the point's race although it will be tough to catch Dennis (Setzer, the current NCTS point's leader). We're not giving up and we're just going to do the best that we can. I think we've started off in the right direction with this Germain Racing Team. We have 12 races left and who knows were we will end up in Homestead -- All I know is that its great to be home and the Germain Racing Team gives me an excellent truck week in and week out."
