TERRY COOK POST RACE QUOTES -

"We tested for two days and worked hard on bringing the best Power Stroke ® Diesel Ford race truck to Memphis to make sure there was no doubt in our minds about our selection," said Cook. "We were a little bit off today because the handling conditions of the truck was really tight. We inserted a spring rubber, made air pressure and wedge adjustments to free up the No. 29 Power Stroke ® Diesel Ford, but it only seemed to work on short runs. Once we had around 20 laps on our Goodyear tires, the truck ended up right back to being too tight."

"A ninth-place finish is definitely not the results we were looking for today at a track where we finished second last year," continued Cook. "We go to each track every week like everyone on this circuit to win and we as a team have our expectations set high wanting nothing less than a win. When we didn't have a top finish today at the ¾-mile tri-oval, we were all disappointed."

"We will take our sixth Top-10 of the season and move on to The Milwaukee Mile which is another track I enjoy racing and it's a track that favors K-Automotive's program," said Cook, who won from pole position in the No. 29 Power Stroke ® Diesel K-Automotive Ford at the one-mile oval last season. "Winning at The Milwaukee Mile last year was really special because it was the track where I got my very first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start."

RICK REN POST RACE QUOTES -

"We came into Memphis extremely optimistic with the Power Stroke ® Diesel Ford we selected," said crew chief Rick Ren. "We felt that we had a Top-5 truck because we were we did so well in our first practice and then we were the fastest truck in final practice yesterday, but that was on short runs. We set the truck up like previous seasons putting it on the tight side because that's what has worked in the past. After 20 laps on tires, we just couldn't run with the leaders. We anticipated the track being looser than what it actually was. We went with the best package that we felt like what give us our first win of the season. Unfortunately, we didn't finish where we wanted to today."
