* Ken Schrader will be making his first career start at Memphis Motorsports Park when he pilots the No. 18 Fastenal Dodge on Saturday night.
* The O'Reilly 200 will mark Schrader's 79th NCTS start. In his previous 78 races Schrader has an average starting position of 20th and finishing of 17th.
* Schrader will pilot "Slim" this weekend at Memphis. Schrader drove this particular chassis to a third place finish at Mansfield and to a 12th place finish at Martinsville earlier in the season. Bobby Hamilton Sr. scored his second of four victories of the 2004 season in this truck at Memphis.
Bobby Hamilton Day: This weekend's NCTS race at Memphis Motorsports Park is dedicated to Hamilton Sr. In celebration of his life the Bobby Hamilton Racing team will be honored and recognized as Grand Marshals of the race. Also, the unveiling of Bobby Hamilton Blvd. will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:15 PM.
A Look Back: Bobby Hamilton Sr. won the O'Reilly 200 in 2004. It was the same year that he later claimed the NCTS Championship.
Honorary Pit Crew Member: BHR will have a special guest with them this weekend. Caroline "Carrie" Jordan is a four year old St. Jude Children's Research Hospital patient. She was diagnosed at the age of two with Acute Lymphoblast Leukemia (ALL) pre-B cell. Members of BHR met Jordan when they visited the hospital last March.
Schrader on First Visit to Memphis MotorSports Park: "I have never raced at Memphis before. I guess it's kind of hard to find a race track I have never been to before, but there are a few out there.I'm looking forward to crossing Memphis off my list. I have raced at the dirt track there, but never the asphalt track. I hear it is a challenging race track. I know Bobby Sr.won here in 2004 and it would be a great tribute to him to win this year."
Lori Hamilton on Bobby Hamilton Day Honor: "We are very honored that people want to pay their respects to Bobby in such a way. Memphis Motorsports Park has a lot of great memories for our team with Bobby (Hamilton) since we won a race there the year we won the championship. Going to the tracks for the first time without him is hard but paying tribute to Bobby helps us remember those good times we all had as a team."
