Millington, TN: Bobby Dotter qualified the People Against Drugs Chevrolet 27th for Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 200 at Memphis Motorsports Park. Dotter turned a lap of 23.832 seconds/113.293 mph, which was 0.945 seconds off the pole time set by Jason Leffler.

"We may not have showed it in practice and qualifying, but I think we have a really good truck here," said Dotter. "As we go farther and farther in the run, the People Against Drugs Chevy gets better and better. We are definitely not set up for a short spurt, but give us a few laps and we should be real good in the race."

The event marks the second event of the season on a track less than one mile in length for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. In the previous short track event, at Martinsville Speedway, Dotter qualified a strong tenth and posted his career-best NCTS finish: fourth.

"We had a strong truck at Martinsville," he said. "That was a typical short track brawl, and I don't think we will see the racing as rough here at Memphis."

The O'Reilly 200 will take the green flag shortly after 1 PM on ESPN, and can be heard on XM Radio and MRN Radio affiliates nationwide.
