SANDUSKY, OHIO (March 12, 2001) - Matt Crafton, 24 of Tulare, California will be returning to his hometown for a grand celebration on Thursday, March 15. Festivities kick-off at 11:00 a.m. and will last until 1:00 p.m. All fans and media are warmly welcome to stop by and chat with Crafton about his career both with the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series and the Craftsman Truck Series.

Host location is Papa Joe's restaurant located at 424 North "N" Street in Tulare. Crafton his #46 crew frequently ate at Papa Joe's during his years in Tulare. In Crafton's honor, the restaurant created a special menu item for Crafton called the "Crafton's NASCAR Truck Speedy Lunch Buffet" complete with a photo of the #88 truck.

The #88 SealMaster Racing Chevrolet Silverado and transporter will be on-sight for fans to take pictures.

Later that same day, Crafton and the No. 88 NASCAR Craftsman Truck team will be hosting a pit stop exhibition at the Bakersfield Festival in front of their hauler from 6-9 p.m.

Friday, March 16 at 7 a.m., Crafton will be playing in the California Trucking Association Celebrity Golf Outing at Kern River Golf Course. Then, at 11:30 a.m. he will be at the annual media conference and BBQ at Mesa Marin Raceway.

Track events start at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16 with the Craftsman Truck Series Rookie meeting, then practices at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. with qualifying at 5 p.m. The Orchard Supply Hardware 250 will be televised live on Saturday, March 17 (est) at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
