Ron Hornaday to Start on Outside of Front Row at Martinsville with Kevin Harvick in the Third Starting Postion
Martinsville, VA - Ron Hornaday, No. 33 VFW Silverado, will roll off in the second starting spot for Saturday's Kroger 200 for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Martinsville Speedway. His boss, Kevin Harvick, will roll of in third behind the wheel of the No. 4 Bounty Silverado.
Johnny Sauter, No. 13 Fun Sand/Rodney Atkins/Curb Records Silverado, scored the ninth starting position to give Team Chevy three of the top-10 starters.
RON HORNADAY, NO. 33 VFW SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 2nd:
"I am so surprised at Rick Ren, but I don't know why I say surprised. We didn't do a qualifying run and I thought we were terrible, we had over 100 laps on our tires and we kept changing everything on it. Rick put his wahzoo setup that Chevy Silverado and here we are second quick. If I had known it was going to be that quick, I would have probably put it on the pole. I wasn't ready for the truck, the truck was better than the driver this week."
KEVIN HARVICK, NO. 4 BOUNTY SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 3rd:
"It was a good lap. That is what you have to do. You have to have a good chance here of keeping yourself from not getting tore up which is qualify good and then hopefully the strategy falls your way. Everybody on the Bounty Chevrolet has done a good job and now it is all about being in the right spot at the right time when it is time to pit."
FOR TOMORROW'S RACE STRATEGY, DO YOU THINK ONE STOP, TWO STOPS?
"All depends on when the cautions fall. You never know, you might go on gas. You might not. You might put two tires, four tires. It is just a matter of when the cautions fall."
