Donny Lia will return to the wheel of the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado for the Martinsville race as well as all the remaining races on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Schedule
Lia has one start at the .526-mile oval finishing ninth in the March 29, 2008 Truck Series event at the track.
Randy Moss Motorsports scored a top-10 finish at Martinsville in the spring with Scott Speed behind the wheel. Speed finished 10th.
NationRides.com will sponsor the No. 81 RMM Chevrolet's for the remaining races of the 2008 season.
Crew chief Eric Phillips has picked chassis No. 02 for the race at Martinsville Speedway. The same chassis was run at Martinsville in the spring and at O'Reilly Raceway Park (ORP) in August. The truck finished 10th at Martinsville with Scott Speed and 14th at ORP with Landon Cassill driving.
ON RACING AT MARTINSVILLE: "Martinsville is one of my favorite race tracks. To me, it's very similar to the bullring that I started racing at, Riverhead Raceway in Long Island, New York. I think that is why I have always run good there. I won the Whelen 300 last year in route to the Whelen Modified Championship and then got my first top-10 ever in a truck there this year. Martinsville has definitely been good to me and my career which is why I love racing there."
ON RETURNING TO DRIVE THE NO. 81 RMM CHEVROLET: "I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of the No. 81 RMM Chevrolet Silverado. I had a great time working with all the guys on the team at the New Hampshire and Las Vegas races and I'm really excited to do it all over again during the next five races. Our communication and chemistry got better with each lap we ran and I honestly feel that there is no telling how much success we can have together, in my eyes the sky is the limit."
CO-OWNER DAVID DOLLAR ON RACING AT MARTINSVILLE: "We are looking forward to coming back to Martinsville and excited with what Donny can bring to the plate. We both had top-10 finishes in the spring and hopefully the combination will yield even better results for us. We are looking forward to having a strong run on Saturday."
Donny Lia will be participating in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series autograph session at the Chevy display on Saturday, October 18 from 11:30 -- 12:00.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will be on track this weekend at Martinsville Speedway for round 21 of 25. Flag-to-flag coverage of the Kroger 200 will be televised live Saturday, Oct. 18 beginning at 2:30 p.m. (EDT) on SPEED and will be broadcast worldwide on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio beginning at 3:00 p.m. (EDT).
