MATT CRAFTON, NO. 88 MENARDS/IDEAL DOOR SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 24TH, FINISHED 2ND:
"Awesome awesome day for our Menards Silverado team. We pitted three times, the No. 18 (Dennis Setzer, race winner) pitted once, I don't know if they got the memo we went to 18 gallon fuel tanks instead of 22 (LAUGHS-SAID IN JEST). We don't know how they did it.
"I can't thank these guys on my team, Menards and Duke and Rhonda Thorson enough. The thing was good, really good. These guys didn't give up. We qualified really crappy. But came out with a top-two finish, can't complain too much.
ON GREEN-WHITE-CHECKERED FINISH AND MISSING THE WRECK COMING OUT OF TURN FOUR TO THE CHECKERED:
"I knew there was going to be something exciting with Kyle (Busch) driving it in there like that. I saw him drive it down hard in to turn three and he wheel hopped it. I don't know he didn't mean to do what he did, getting in to the No. 23 (Johnny Benson) but he wheel hopped it and got loose.
"I was trying to be patient because last year we were running third on the last lap and wrecked and finished 17th. So I was going to finish fourth if I had to."
ON THE MOMENTUM OF THE TEAM:
"It is good. This race team has come a long way. I have come a long way too. We had a really good run at Atlanta and came in here with momentum. We were awesome when we rolled of trailer and finished second. The first win not coming yet is a thorn in my side, but, we are a little bit closer."
