BOBBY LABONTE, NO. 47 CHEVROLET RODEWAY INN/ECONO LODGE ALL STAR SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 5th, FINISHED 1ST:
"Wow, that was fun! I have a great truck. Randy Goss and the entire Morgan Dollar crew worked so hard. I can't thank Chevrolet enough for the chance to race these truck races. They are a ton of fun. I knew Hornaday would make a hard run on that last restart so I knew I had to have a good restart and try to get away. He and Ricky (Craven) were beating and banging behind me and it gave me just enough to get away. This is a great track, I love to race here and I am proud of getting this trophy."
RON HORNADAY, NO. 6 GM GOODWRENCH CHEVROLET SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 11TH, FINISHED 3RD:
THAT WAS AN EXCITING RESTART AT THE END: "It wasn't going to work, but it looked good. No, but they had the bottom guarded and I just have got to thank Wally and the guys. They did an awesome job on the truck. I'll tell you what: I wanted to get a 1-2 with Bobby. It was a heck of a race last time we ran and I'd like to go across the line and get that checkered flag. What a great racer he is. It was a lot of fun and congratulations to him and the whole team over there at Morgan Dollar.Great day. The Goodyears are unbelievable.I stayed out 140-something laps or whatever it was and with everybody coming on board right now. It's unbelievable. It's cool."
DID YOU GUYS HAVE TO MAKE MANY CHANGES TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY?: "You know what, we thought we were really good yesterday. We qualified.and I thought we'd be really good. Wally made some drastic changes today and got it 99% better, I just needed one more change. But, come in the pits three times and stay on the track and race these guys and finish third, we'll take that."
JACK SPRAGUE, NO. 16 CHEVY TRUCKS SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 3RD, FINISHED 11TH:
"We were good today but our Chevy Trucks Silverado was just a tick too tight. I needed just a little more forward bite. If I was not in heavy traffic on a clear track and could arch it in the way I needed to, we were as fast as anyone. We were able to lead for a while and got a decent finish. The truck has four fenders on it; which didn't happen last fall. It was a decent points day for us so we keep creeping up and will be poised to get our first win this season."
DENNIS SETZER, NO 46 CHEVROLET SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 9TH, FINISHED 33RD:
"It was a very difficult day for our Silverado team. We had two tires go down and got in the wall and got behind and the whole day just was just not a typical day for this Morgan Dollar team. Congratulations to my teammate Bobby Labonte and everyone on the NO. 47 team. They were awesome today. We will just go back and evaluate the whole race and get ready for St. Louis."
KEVIN HARVICK, NO. 92 YARD-MAN CHEVROLET SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 15TH, FINISHED 12TH:
"The truck was really tight at the beginning of the race. I had a tough time getting back in the throttle to get off the corner. The Yard-Man guys made some good adjustments to free me up. But, there at the end I was just too free. It wasn't exactly what we had hoped for today but it was fun."
DAVID STARR, NO. 75 SPEARS MANUFACTURING CHEVROLET SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 23RD , FINISHED 22ND:
"I had the right truck today. My Chevy Silverado was pretty awesome. I'll tell you what Dave McCarty and my guys are awesome - I'll tell you when we have our backs up against the wall I can count on McCarty and the guys. Our truck was horrible in practice here - Dave put it up on jack stands and started to make some changes. I always like to call it McCarty magic and he put the magic to the Silverado. Even though we started 23rd we started moving right up and taking our time on our way to the front. They kept making the truck better and better and we moved up to 8th when Hamilton got into us with 25 laps to go and knocked us out of the top-10. All and all it was a good day for our team. We are disappointed with the finish - the finish result does not reflect how good our truck was today. Our truck was good but our truck series champion got into me and sent us for a ride. We'll bounce back and look forward to Gateway."
SHANE HMIEL, NO. 15 WINFUEL CHEVROLET SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 10TH, FINISHED 6TH:
"We had a rear sway bar break, but we had a good Silverado before that. There at the end of the race after that last restart, everybody was going for it and Ted (Musgrave) was better than me. It was time for him to go and I was holding him up. We were just lucky to come home with the good finish we had. I am looking forward to running for Billy Ballew Motorsports again in the near future."
