This will be rookie Shige Hattori's first visit to Mansfield Motorsports Speedway in central Ohio. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series UAW-GM 200 race will mark Hattori's second attempt to qualify on a short track. Mansfield Motorsports Speedway is the shortest track on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series circuit, only .05 miles in distance. Due to qualifying on last years points, the freshman Hattori missed the field for the first short track race of the season at Martinsville Speedway.

Shige comments on racing at MANSFIELD MOTORSPORTS SPEEDWAY:

"I'm really am looking forward to going to Mansfield this week. I missed the Martinsville race a few weeks ago and I really want to drive on a short track. Because I missed Martinsville I'm really looking forward to being back at a short track to see how the testing has helped."

"We tested at South Boston on Thursday last to help me get ready for the short track at Mansfield. I have heard Mansfield is a great track and I know from living in Columbus the people there are real race fans. The Germain's (brothers -Bob, Rick and Steve Germain) are from Columbus and we plan on having a good run for them in the No. 9 AISIN / AISIN AW Germain/Arnold Toyota Tundra."

Shige comments on testing:

"We've been practicing a lot which has given me the seat time I need in the Toyota Tundra race truck. We tested in Chicago right after Gateway and it was a good test. Every test helps me and I feel so much more comfortable in the truck. The team has focused on getting me as much seat time as possible in the truck . We are a young team and it takes time to grow but I'm confident we will achieve our goals."
