NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Returns To Mansfield After Successful 2004 Debut
Mansfield, OH: The 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule was released on Thursday, showing 25 races at 23 racetracks all across America, including a return visit to Mansfield Motorsports Speedway. The Mansfield event is scheduled for Sunday May 15, 2005, with practice and qualifying runs taking place the day before.
"We had a tremendous response to the Inaugural UAW/GM Ohio 250 at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway from everyone," said MMS General Manager Jerry Smith. "The teams enjoyed being here, and we are still hearing from our fans about it. It is such an honor to work with all the people at NASCAR. We are proud to have given them enough faith in us to come back in 2005."
Smith says ticket holders from the initial NCTS events can expect ticket renewal forms in the mail in the coming weeks.
"We will be communicating with all of our ticket holders from 2004 by direct mail in the coming weeks," he said. "Everyone that had a ticket will have the option to renew those tickets for next season. For those that were not able to come and see the race here with us in 2004, we encourage you to call now and get on our list. Once we open ticket sales later in the fall, we will call you back in the order your calls were received."
Those wishing to place their names on the waiting list for NCTS tickets at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway can call (419) 524-0183 starting Monday, August 2 at 9 A.M. Eastern.
