KREYER CONFIDENT FOR SECOND NASCAR RACE WILL DRIVE CULVER'S SILVERADO IN OHIO 250

MANSFIELD, Ohio, May 22, 2007 - Veteran short-track racer Frank Kreyer will pilot the #44 Culver's Chevy Silverado from Key Motorsports in Saturday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Ohio 250, second NASCAR event of his career, with renewed confidence.

Kreyer debuted the Culver's truck in late March qualifying 27th and finishing 28th in the Kroger 250 Craftsman Truck Series race on the half-mile banked oval of the Martinsville Speedway in Virginia, his and Culver's first NASCAR event.

After a couple of practice sessions earlier in the day, Kreyer will enter the qualifying round beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday. The race commences at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

"I'm very excited about this coming weekend because Mansfield is a lot more like the tracks I am used to," said the 37-year-old Poynett, Wis. native. "Like Martinsville, this is a short track, but this one is asphalt with high banking. I did not have a lot of experience on flat, concrete tracks like Martinsville nor in a racer like this truck. "But I got a lot of laps in the first race, so I understand the truck better and how my competitors race, as well.

"I know now I can compete at this level and am thrilled to be able to live up to the faith Culver's has in me to carry its name into NASCAR's national spotlight."

Culver's, the restaurant chain known for its fresh, frozen custard and ButterBurgersR, has sponsored Kreyer the past six seasons and is broadening its motorsports involvement from a regional program into the national spotlight with a limited 2007 entry into NASCAR. Kreyer will compete in two truck and four BUSCH Series events.

According to co-founder Craig Culver, "Frank's efforts on Culver's behalf the past six years in Wisconsin and throughout the upper Midwest have been terrific, with direct benefits for restaurants. As Frank moves into the 'big time,' Culver's is thrilled to go along for the ride. We believe NASCAR's strong national reach will help us build broader brand familiarity as Culver's expands and as the sport continues to grow in popularity."
