Bobby Hamilton Considers Mansfield a Cat and Mouse Game

Cat and Mouse Game: "Mansfield is a cat and mouse race track. You spend so much time trying to outsmart the next competitor. It is like a cat chasing a mouse. Small tracks always have that kind of demeanor. You have to use the right pit strategy, which can either be pitting when everyone else does or sometimes it helps to step out on your own. That can also bite you though. You also have to use the right on-track racing strategy which means not getting caught up in other people's wrecks or havoc on track. Then the most important part is you have to be there at the end. That really speaks for itself. It's like chasing a mouse; find the way to outsmart him and run the opposite way around a corner, and you have him right where you want him. So which one would I want to be? I would be the cat. It always gets the mouse at the end."

TECH-NET Professional Auto Service, Law Enforcement Torch Run Join Forces with Hamilton: The Reigning NCTS Champion will drive a uniquely designed TECH-NET Professional Auto Service/Law Enforcement Torch Run No. 04 Dodge created to help raise awareness and funding for the Special Olympics in the UAW-GM Ohio 250 at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway. Hamilton said, "This is a great cause and we are honored to be a part of it. The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is the movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle. The Special Olympics helps countless individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Thanks to the support from TECH-NET Professional members, all of us at Bobby Hamilton Racing can be involved with this extremely worthy cause."

Mike DeSorbo's quote on Sponsorship: "Much like Bobby Hamilton, the professionals at TECH-NET Professional Auto Service Centers lead the way. TECH-NET is proud of its association with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Through our partnership with Bobby Hamilton Racing, we hope to bring additional awareness to this great cause," said Mike DeSorbo, Director of Market Segments for CARQUEST Corporation.

Danny Rollins on Stiffler: "We took the truck Stiffler (previously known as Hot Carl) to the wind tunnel recently. From the numbers we got while there, it is one stout truck. We brought it back and cut off the sides and worked on the body even more, so it is a rocket ship now. We're going to run it in Dover. I thought about taking it to Charlotte, but since Slim Shady tested so well there we decided not to chance it. There are some characteristics about this truck that we think will be great for a stiffer, concrete track like Dover. The truck is more rigid, and you need that on a concrete surface. It tested at Pocono really well and Bobby liked it. So we expect good things out of our new baby."
