CARMICHAEL AT NEW HAMPSHIRE: Ricky Carmichael has made two starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway while running in the K&N East Series in 2008. In those appearances, he scored a fifth and 16th-place finish.
CARMICHAEL ON TRUCKS: Carmichael's last race came at Kentucky Speedway, where he finished in fifth place, scoring his second top-five finish of 2010. So far this season, Carmichael has scored two top-five and three top-10 finishes.
CARMICHAEL ON COMPETING AT NEW HAMPSHIRE: "It was great to have an off-weekend, but I'm really looking forward to getting back on the track at Loudon. After our top-five finish at Kentucky, I feel like we've got some momentum to carry with us through these next few races. I like short tracks, and I had some success when I went to the track while racing in the East series, so I'm hoping it will be a good day for the Monster Energy team."
BEHIND THE WHEEL: Crew chief Doug Randolph has chosen chassis No.18 for Carmichael to pilot at Loudon. This is a brand new Leavitt chassis for Turner Motorsports and the Monster Energy team.
TEE OFF FOR A GREAT CAUSE: Ricky hosted his second annual charity golf tournament on Monday, September 13th in Tallahassee, Fla., to support ECHO, a local non-profit organization that supports homeless families in the Tallahassee-area with food, clothing, job training and even housing assistance. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick was among the celebrities attending the event. The tournament raised more than $45,000 to support the efforts of the organization.
