Starr on Racing at New Hampshire International Speedway:
"New Hampshire has been a great track for me through the years. I've been there five times, and I have finished in the top 10 three of those times. That's the goal for the Red Horse Racing Team this weekend -- to get a top-10 or top-five finish. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points chase is really competitive. You can gain points just as easily as you can lose them right now. If we want to finish in the top 10 in points at the end of the season, we're going to have to run in the top 10 every weekend. And this Red Horse Racing Team is capable of that week in and week out."
"I think that New Hampshire will be a great race track for the No. 11 Toyota Tundra. I really like New Hampshire. It's a lot different than other tracks on our schedule. The track has long straights and flat corners. You have to have a good handling truck to run in the front at New Hampshire. One of the keys is to have a truck that turns good through the center, and that is one of my crew chief Jamie Jones specialties. He always gives me trucks that turn good in the center, so I think New Hampshire could be a good track for the No. 11 Toyota Tundra and Red Horse Racing."
Starr Looks Ahead With Eight Races Remaining on the Schedule:
"A lot can happen in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in eight races. The Series is so incredibly tough and competitive. There are so many teams that are capable of winning a race that you really can't pick a favorite for each track that we are going to. We have some interesting races ahead of us, starting with this weekend at New Hampshire. New Hampshire is a driver's track, and I really like racing on it. I've done well there in the past, and if my previous finishes are any indication -- I think this could be a really good weekend for the Red Horse Racing Team. Next weekend is Las Vegas, which is one of my personal favorites and we will be running a special paint scheme there for our sponsor -- TOYOTAFORKLIFT.NET. That's the first place I won in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The track has been changed just this year, so it's going to be an even playing field for all of us in Las Vegas. I'm also looking forward to Phoenix and Martinsville because I have wins at both of those tracks, too. And of course, the trucks will be in Talladega for the first time. That's going to be interesting for sure. We've got some big races ahead of us. Although its fun to look ahead at the schedule, this No. 11 team is taking it one race at a time. The goal for the Red Horse Racing team is to get solid finishes each weekend and to finish in the top five in points at the end of the season. I think that is attainable for this team."
Starr will be making his 158th career start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this week at NHIS.
