TERRY COOK POST RACE QUOTES -

"Typically this Power Stroke ® Diesel/Oil Mateâ"' team is not happy with a seventh-place finish," said Cook. "After the past month we've endured with bad luck, the finish tonight at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was a blessing. To be mildly competitive here tonight at a track where we've normally not faired well in the past means we are moving in the right direction."

"Bob Keselowski and I seem to work really well together," said Cook. "Hopefully tonight was a good indication that we are getting the program back on track to have good runs that this team knows we deserve and are used to having. A seventh-place finish is my best finish at this track. I think our finish tonight has given this Power Stroke ® Diesel/Oil Mateâ"' team momentum and confidence heading into South Boston this week."

"When you get down after the problems we've had, a run like tonight is definitely something for us to build on," continued Cook. "Everybody gets down on themselves, and as a drive I do, and I know the crew has been disappointed too. Tonight was a good night for us and we had a really good motor that ran awesome. I can't say enough about our motor department. It was one of the best we've had all season."

"After a solid finish at Las Vegas, we are set to get back to some short track racing at South Boston because it is a type of track that has always been a strong area for us," said Cook. "South Boston is a critical track where a lot can happen in a hurry and you can get caught up in someone else's mayhem if you are not careful. We're ready to get back to short track racing."
