RICK CRAWFORD-14-Circle Bar Motel & RV Park Ford F-150 (Finished 36th)

YOU HAD TWO MOTORS EXPIRE TODAY. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS? "We had a really good truck. I hate it for Robert Yates. Their engine program has been super all year. I really don't know what happened to it. I'll tell you what, I don't know how come the other happened this quick. We'll have to take them back home and look at them when we get back, and then we'll get them at South Boston next week."

CARL EDWARDS-99-Superchips Ford F-150 (Finished 27th)

"The Superchips Ford was tuned up a little too much. That was a lot of fun. Man, I was having a blast out there. I have to thank Jack Roush, obviously Superchips and all of the folks for letting us come out here and race. Look at that grandstand; it's full. I was just living the dream out there having a good time. Something important broke. It just wouldn't go. We'll be back, though. This is really frustrating. I thought we had a good truck tonight. It could have been a good night for us."

YOU WEREN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD MOTOR PROBLEMS TONIGHT. WERE TEAMS AGGRESSIVE WITH GEARING THIS WEEKEND? "No, in fact we thought we were a little conservative. I don't know really what happened. I'm sure it was just some faulty part somewhere. The Mooresville engine shop does a great job. They put great engines in this Superchips Ford. I don't think it was really anything we did. It was just one of those fluke deals."

WAS THERE ANY INDICATION THAT THE MOTOR WAS GOING TO FAIL? "It had a vibration there for a while, but I don't know if that was a symptom of what occurred there. It kinda let go all at once. I didn't know what happened. I thought the driveshaft fell out of it. It's really frustrating. I think if we had a yellow we could have regrouped. We made some good adjustments, and it would have been pretty fast."

JON WOOD-50-Bob Graham for President Ford F-150 (Finished 19th)

WAS THERE ANY INDICATION EARLY IN THE RACE THAT YOU WERE DEVELOPING A MISS IN THE MOTOR? "No, we were fast the whole time. Right after that last pit stop I noticed a little bit of a skip, and as it turns out, it was the motor going."

YOU WERE ABLE TO FINISH THE RACE WHILE YOUR TEAMMATE FAILED TO FINISH. DO YOU THINK THERE WAS A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH BOTH TRUCKS? "I'm sure it was. We've been so good all year long, and to not have any engine trouble, it's bound to happen sooner or later. We've got great motors week-in and week-out, and this stuff kind of happens."

YOU WEREN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD MOTOR PROBLEMS TONIGHT. WERE TEAMS AGGRESSIVE WITH GEARING THIS WEEKEND? "No, Crawford went out on lap 2, so I don't think his was directly related to that, and I don't think ours was either."

TERRY COOK-29-Power Stroke Diesel/Oil Mate Ford F-150 (Finished 7th)

"This is the first top-10 finish in I can't tell you how long. Bob Keselowski is back, and he and I seem to work together really well. Hopefully tonight is the first of getting the program back on track to have the good runs that this team knows we can and deserves. Everybody gets down on the themselves, and as a driver I do, and the crew, I know they've been pretty disappointed recently. To come out of here with a solid top-10 effort, and we were mildly competitive. We weren't chasing our tail all night and didn't have any problems. The motor ran awesome tonight, and I can't say enough about our motor department. Just overall a decent night. It gives us something to build on. It's nothing to brag about and go home and jump up and down about, but the way that we've been running the past month and a half, it is."

WHAT HAPPENED ON THE PIT STOP WHERE YOU HAD TO COME BACK INTO THE PITS? "It was situation where they had good stops all night long and unfortunately we had a lug nut issue on one pit stop, and had to come back in and throw it on. It didn't cost a lot of time and the truck was so good we were able to drive back up pack and get back into the top 10."
