MATT CRAFTON , NO. 88 MENARDS/SUPERCLEAN CHEVROLET, STARTED 14th, FINISHED 3rd:

"First I have to thank these guys for bringing me an awesome truck. It is the same truck we raced at Kentucky earlier this year. Everybody was bugging us to bring our Charlotte truck back to race. This Menard's Chevy was awesome when we rolled it off the trailer. We didn't change a spring in it, just made very minor changes, that's all. These guys build some awesome race trucks at the shop. I want to thank everybody at the shop for giving us what we have here."

HOW DID YOUR RACE GO TONIGHT?

"Very eventful. We started 14th and drove to third right off. I had a little bit of an issue on a pit stop and lost some spots and on the second pit stop when I was coming back on the race track I hit a huge piece of debris with the right front and we were about 10th at that point just from coming out. A lot of people put on two tires, no tires and we had to come back in and take on right sides because I ran over something with the right front and I went back to whatever, probably 28th at that point. Got back to third and the truck was awesome. When we rolled off the trailer it was awesome."

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT ALL THE CRASHED AND CAUTIONS AT THE END OF THE RACE?

"I definitely wasn't one them because we started so loose at the beginning of the race and we kept making it better and better in the last run and that was by far the fastest we had been in the race. We never could really show it because we would run two laps have a yellow for two laps. If we could have went 20 laps under the green flag right there at the end I think we could have definitely had something for them."

YOU'VE BEEN KIND OF SLIDING DOWN IN THE POINTS AND NOT HAVING AS GOOD OF RESULTS RECENTLY, WHAT DOES THIS DO FOR YOUR TEAM?

"It's huge. It's like I was telling people this week in and last week it's just as easy to get on a winning streak and run in the top five each week as it is to get in a slump and it's just as hard to get out of that slump as it is to get on that winning streak. I mean it's awesome to get back in the top five and be able to contend for wins. I definitely think we had a truck tonight that was capable of winning. We could have had the track position. This place I wasn't real fond of it the last couple of years. It's just aged, the race track keeps aging and getting better and better. It's definitely got a second grove in it now."

HOW DID IT FEEL TO KEEP THAT 33 TRUCK BEHIND YOU TONIGHT?

"It was good. He got by me the second to last restart and I made a mistake and got a run and got into the back of the six and had to roll out a little bit and back off at the end. He had the same thing happen to him on the last restart. We learned from each other. He learned from my mistake and I learned from him. So it's good, real good."
