Stacy Compton, driver of the No. 09 Zaxby's Ford F-150 becomes the 22nd driver to make his 100th career start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Despite making the milestone start, Compton has a rookie label at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway since this is his first race on the new configuration.

STACY COMPTON -- NO. 09 Zaxby's Ford F-150

ON REACHING THE 100TH CAREER START IN NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES. "It's really neat to have reached that mark. Somebody gave me a piece of paper that said that I'm one of seven active drivers who have competed in at least 80 races in each of the NASCAR Cup, Busch and Truck Series. I think that's pretty cool, they told me the other guys on the 80 least were Kenny Schrader, Todd Bodine, Kevin Harvick, Mike Wallace, Johnny Benson and Mike Bliss. So, I think I'm in good company. At least that tells me I've been around for a while. I'm looking forward to racing here today, especially with it being my 100th start. Hopefully we'll put on a good show and we'll have the opportunity to run another 100 races."

ON RACING IN LAS VEGAS WITH THE NEW CONFIGURATION. "We won the pole here in the old track set-up. I don't know about today since I haven't race with the new configuration. We'll have to figure it out in these practice sessions. I think we'll be pretty good. Everybody talks about the track is good, just rough. It should make for good racing. We've got a good Zaxby's Ford F-150 here this weekend. We brought the same truck this weekend that helped us finish second in Dover earlier this year. We've held on to this truck since Dover, just for this race. Hopefully, the driver won't make any mistakes in practice and we'll be all set."

SINCE RAIN DELAYED THE FIRST PRACTICE AND NASCAR HAS COMBINED ALL THE PRACTICE SESSIONS TODAY, HOW DOES THAT CHANGE TONIGHT'S RACE? "The biggest thing is that there are 18 rookies looking to race here. There are 18 guys that have never race with the new configuration, and I'm one of them. That changes things a bit. We were hoping to get a bunch of laps in and get familiar with the track before qualifying. Now, we're just hoping that we'll be okay, probably just like everybody else here."
