Phoenix International Raceway

"Chevy Silverado 150"

Driver: Lance Norick #90
Sponsor: Aventis Behring Choice
Crew Chief: John Monsam
Owner: Ron Norick

The Truck:
Norick will race "Old Timer" at Phoenix. He last raced this truck at Richmond where he had qualified 8th and finished 28th, after crashing. After the crash, Norick's crew got the truck back out on the track and back "up to speed." And although he was eventually running as quick as the leaders, he was also 15 laps behind by then. The 28th place finish doesn't reflect the incredible job his crew did that day.

*Average finish this season, 15th.

*Trailing 10th place Coy Gibbs by 66 points.

*Norick is no stranger to Victory Lane at Phoenix International Raceway. He won there on the road course in the FF2000 series in 1995.

*Among other drivers from various NASCAR series, Norick will sign autographs at Zoomfest at the Arizona Center on Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30.

Driver Lance Norick:
"We've been building momentum and our team's really coming together well. I am looking forward to this weekend and I think our teamwork will show in this weekend's Silverado 150."

Crew Chief John Monsam:
"I have already been out to Phoenix Raceway once this year-finished 4th in the Winston West race. The track at Phoenix is really a driver's track. Our truck has a good motor and good turning and that's what you need to run up front out here. I think we can look forward to a top-five finish."

Team Manager/Spotter Gus Primm
"This is the place where Lance and I had our first victory with the FF2000 team way back when. I would love to see Phoenix be our first win in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series."
