DETERMINATION MOTTO OF LANCE NORICK AND NHL DODGE TEAM

FLEMINGTON, NJ - Lance Norick and the NHL Dodge team are a determined group. Despite the recent rash of bad luck that has kept the team from solid finishes when they had strong runs going, Norick and company are positive they are a sold team that just needs a break as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series stops at Flemington Speedway for the Stevens Beil/Genuine Car Parts 200 on August 8. The event is race 16 of the 27 event 1998 NCTS schedule.

“We dropped a cylinder early in the race at New Hampshire,” said Norick. “We had an electrical problem at Indy and got caught on a green flag/yellow flag pit stop situation in Colorado. But this team is determined not to let a little bad luck get us down. We know that a positive attitude will help us overcome these obstacles.

“The NHL Dodge team is a good, solid team,” Norick continued. “We have excellent equipment and my crew works hard to give me a good truck every weekend. We all know we are just a little down on luck right now. Call it stubborn, call it determined, but whatever you call it, we are going to get this NHL team in victory lane.

“I have raced at Flemington Speedway just once, but we ran pretty good,” concluded Norick. “It’s a neat track, with tricky, tight corners. We know we are headed in the right direction with the NHL team, it is just a matter of time before we get the payoff for all of our hard work.”

Bud Pole qualifying for the Stevens Beil/Genuine Car Parts 200, round 16 of the 27 event 1998 NCTS schedule, is scheduled for Saturday, August 8 at 1:00 p.m. EDT. The race will begin at 4:00 p.m. EDT and will be televised live by TNN. NASCAR Truck Network will broadcast the race to over 400 radio station affiliates nationwide.
