KANSAS CITY, Kansas - For the fifth consecutive time, Matt Crafton has qualified in the top-15 for a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. Crafton earned the 13th starting position for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 at the Kansas Speedway Friday, July 5. The race is Saturday, July 6.

"We're consistently getting top-15 qualifying runs," Crafton said. "The consistency is a good thing, but we know we need to step it up and start qualifying in the top-12 and top-10 regularly."

Crafton has started in the top-15 in five-straight truck races once before, accomplishing the feat as a truck series rookie in 2001.

Crafton's fastest lap in qualifying for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 was 33.395 second (161.701 miles per hour) around the 1.5-mile oval. Jason Leffler won the pole with a 32.567 (165.812) lap.

The O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 is scheduled for 1 p.m. EDT/10 a.m. PDT Saturday, July 6. The race is slated for telecast on ESPN and broadcast on the affiliates of the Motor Racing Network.
