HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (May 12, 2014) - Jimmy Weller and SS Green Light Racing will welcome a new partner to their No. 08 Chevrolet Silverado at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway as Joedance Film Festival comes onboard for the annual event in NASCAR's heartland. The Charlotte-based film festival looks to raise funds and awareness for rare pediatric cancers, as well as support research and clinical trials at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte.

"I'm really excited to have Joedance Film Festival on our truck this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway," commented Weller. "It's a great organization focused on raising awareness and funds for a very important cause in pediatric cancer. Through this initiative, I hope SS Green Light Racing is able to build even more awareness for Joedance, and help them increase the support they are able to provide to research and clinical trials at the Levine Children's Hospital."

The Joedance Film Festival was founded on July 6, 2010 in memory of Joe Restaino, a movie lover, who passed away after a four-year battle with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) at the age of 20. Designed to showcase original film entries from Charlotte's film industry producers, writers and directors, the Joedance Film Festival is held annually during the first weekend of August in the courtyard of the 10th Street Townhomes in Charlotte's Fourth Ward District.

"Our partnership with SS Green Light Racing and Jimmy Weller is so exciting for Joedance Film Festival," commented Diane Restaino, President of Joedance Film Festival. "We appreciate their support of our foundation and the opportunities this creates for Joedance as we continue to raise awareness of rare pediatric cancers."
