Jason White on Chicagoland: “Chicagoland is different from the other 1.5-mile tracks in that it is wider off the corners which provides for more racing grooves. It is not uncommon to see three wide off the turns and that provides some great racing action. Also the bumps getting into Turn 3 is a challenge at times – all making for some exciting action. We are taking the same truck that we ran at Charlotte and Kansas where we ran upfront and led laps. It will be important for us to get a handle on our set-up right off the hauler and if we do that I think we will have this No. 23 GunBroker.com Ford running up front on Saturday night.”

“It feels great to be racing on a regular schedule here during the summer months as it allows me and the team to build that chemistry and communication that it takes to be successful in this series.”

Jason at Chicagoland: This will mark Jason’s fourth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at the 1.5-mile track in Joliet, Illinois. His best finish was 11th during the 2010 season after starting in the 11th position. He has an average starting position of 12.7 and average finish of 18.0. Jason also has one start at Chicagoland Speedway in the NASCAR Nationwide Series where he finished 23rd in the event during the 2003 season.

Race Rewind: Jason White came to Iowa with his sights set on another strong run as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series nears the middle point of the season. White would fight the handling of his No. 23 GunBroker.com Ford all weekend before settling for a 14th place finish in the running of the American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway.

Jason sits in a three-way tie for the 11th position in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers’ standings – a mere two points out of the top-10.

“Bullet” Blows into Windy City: The GunBroker.com team will be bringing the truck they nicknamed “Bullet” to Chicagoland Speedway this week. In honor of the team’s sponsor, GunBroker.com, the GB Racing team uses gun and shooting themed names for most of their trucks – thus the name “Bullet”. “Bullet” is the same truck that Jason ran last week in Iowa on his way to a 14th place finish. The team has also fielded “Bullet” at the other 1.5-mile tracks at Texas, Charlotte and Kansas.
