ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 51 Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports
Are you looking forward to racing at ORP? "I've always had a lot of success at ORP. I've finished third (2009) and 10th (2005) in the Truck Series, and got a pole (2007) there in the Nationwide Series. I love the race track. It's a lot of fun to race on. It's a short track, but it races like a big track. You can race way up the track, against the fence, or you can race on the bottom. It's under the lights, which is always a plus. It makes for a lot of exciting racing and the fans get an awesome show. You go into ORP knowing that you're going to have a few donuts on the side of your truck by the end of the night."
JOHANNA LONG, No. 15 Race for Riley Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports
Are you excited to make your first Truck Series start? "I'm really excited. It's my first race in the Camping World Truck Series and I'm ready to step up. I raced at ORP about two years ago in a Late Model, so I'm ready to go back. I'm a little nervous, but ready. I think that when I get in there and I strap my helmet on I'll be all good."
Is there any comparison between racing in a Truck versus a Late Model? "It's a lot different. The trucks don't like to do too many things at once and in a Late Model, you can drive it way harder than a truck. This is my 10th year racing. I've been racing since I was eight years old. I raced go-karts for four years and then I moved to a Legend car and then I raced Late Models. We've come a long way, definitely."
