Regan Smith, No. 47 Ginn Resorts Silverado, 14th in first practice and 10th in second practice - qualifying has been canceled and Smith will start 29th
On how his truck was in practice: "I have a really good truck. All the guys at Morgan-Dollar Motorsports brought a great race truck for me. It has been a long week, so I am extremely appreciative of them getting this thing put together; getting my seat slapped real quick and busting their butts to get up here. I am real excited about tonight. We have a good Chevy Silverado. I think if we can get qualifying in, I definitely think we are a threat for the pole and, if not, we will get to have a lot of fun passing a lot of trucks."
On plans for remainder of the season: "It has been an interesting week. A lot of stuff happened from Monday on. There is a lot of stuff that is still unknown, a lot of stuff that I don't know, a lot of stuff that to be figured out among different groups of people. The one thing that is cool is that I could come and when I a good race truck, it makes me feel a lot better. I have a really good truck. I told the guys that this is the first time all week, I don't want to say that I haven't been in a good mood, but that I have been able to smile. When I put the helmet on and went out on the race track and that was all I had to worry about was what I was doing with the race truck. There are a lot of things that aren't in my control right now, but one of the things I can control is how we run today and how we perform tonight and we are going to do our best to make a statement."
Dennis Setzer, No. 75 Spear Manufacturing Silverado, 16th in first practice, involved in one-truck incident on-track during second practice, will bring out the backup truck to start 12th in tonight's 200-lap/137.2-mile
"Unfortunately we had a sway bar arm wear through on the right front. It got against the track and the asphalt just ground it right through. It is such an important part of the suspension with the ultra-soft front springs in these things that it just drove straight in to the wall Actually it felt like flat tire, we came in and the tire was still pumped up but it hit that suspension awful hard.
"I am fine, no problem for me. Unfortunately, it did tear our truck up too bad to compete so we will bring out a backup. I am sure they will put a great Silverado truck under me so we will just go out and see how she goes.
"We had a lot of stuff we needed to change. We don't really plan on bringing out backups. I am not too much in favor of that; I try to dodge that as much as possible. We are going to do it here and I have great guys on this team.
"These guys do a great job. We have all the scales and all the tools to bring this truck up to where we were with the other truck, we will just hook the sway bar up and go at it."
