Career at IRP:
Deborah will be making her second career start at the .686-mile oval of the Indianapolis Raceway Park.
Deborah On Indianapolis Raceway Park:
"IRP is one of the most entertaining races of the season for the fans and it is big for the fact of it being a support race for the Brickyard. This will be only my second start at the tricky confines of IRP so it will be important for me and this team to get some quality laps in practice early on Friday. We are racing the same truck that we ran at Memphis and we will be able to use some things that we learned in that race. This will be a typically exciting NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series short track event and as usual it will be imperative for me to keep my nose clean and the fenders on the truck. Hopefully we can accomplish that and bring home our No. 8 DODGE to a strong finish."
Women In The Winner's Circle:
On Thursday, Deborah will be attending the 3rd Annual Women in the Winner's Circle at the University of Indianapolis. The purpose of this program is to celebrate the achievements of women in motorsports - both behind the wheel and behind the scenes. With the success of the first event back in 2003, Women in the Winner's Circle has become a highly anticipated event. The goals of the event have stayed the same since the beginning - to celebrate the achievements of women in motorsports and to help prepare the way for future opportunities in motorsports.
"I look forward to attending this event, said Deborah. I went to the first event back in 2003 and it was so neat to be around a large group of people who share the same passion. One of my sponsors - CallSource - is sponsoring the event this year and for me that makes it a little extra special. I look forward to seeing some old friends and meeting new ones as well. It will be a fun day."
No. 8 DODGE At IRP:
Deborah will be racing the truck named "Zombie" this week at IRP. Deborah ran this truck at Dover earlier this season to her career best finish of 12th and she last raced the truck in Memphis.
