BOBBY HAMILTON (No. 4 Square D Dodge Ram) - Race Winner
"It's been a long year. We needed to win this one. We've tried everything we could the last three or four races. We've taken different approaches building on next year. We turned the program upside down and got a lot of help from Dodge engineering. We've got something good to go into the winter with now.
"I've learned a lot this year, that's for sure. I learned what some of our problems are, and we turned them around. We'll see how we stack up next year.
"I hate it for Brendan because they really worked hard this year. I really hate it for Dodge. I can't imagine what that race team feels like right now. Me and Brendan had a problem this year, but Michael Gaughan is a great owner and he's good for the series.
"I don't really know what happened with Ted. That's one thing that makes our sport great. Controversy is part of it. It's just a shame someone has to be on the losing end of it.
"Our truck has been great all weekend. We didn't have anything to lose and everything to gain, so that's what we went for. We needed to win another race. We haven't won as many races as we should be winning. We had a great test at Atlanta, and we ran great here all weekend. We were first off the truck, first out of the pits and the last one to leave.
"I hate it for Ted. If somebody did check up, it's like you might as well run over 'em. Somebody has to make the calls. We have bad calls every now and then. I haven't seen it yet, but you usually can't argue with the calls.
"We had a good day, and it was a good weekend. This track is great. Anyone that's going to build a new track should come here and take plenty of notes. We had a great weekend. We won the pole, led a lot of laps and won the race, so that'll help the winter go by a little faster."
