JACK SPRAGUE HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY QUOTES
ON HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY: "We tested at Homestead a couple of weeks ago and were really happy with how well it went. The track has changed a great deal from last year. It is actually very surprising that a track could lose so much grip in such a short period of time. Testing there was critical for us because now we know what we need to do this weekend to be in a strong position to win the race. The track has several grooves but it is still going to be hard to pass because of the lack of grip. Our Chevy Trucks Silverado should be pretty good right off the truck so we can really work on our race strategy as well as getting a good qualifying run. Track position will be key and starting up front always helps that. We finished fifth here last year and have always run pretty well so we are looking for good things this weekend.
"This is our last chance this season to win again and obviously we want to do that very much. Everyone on this Chevy Trucks Silverado team is as determined as we have ever been to win and to use our recent successes as momentum for next season. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is, in my opinion, the toughest competition anywhere now and that will be even more the case next season. We feel like we have built a very strong program here and will have a legitimate shot at the championship in 2005."
