ROOKIE OF THE YEAR STATUS:
Donny Lia trails Colin Braun and Brian Scott in the Raybestos® Rookie standings with just one race remaining in the 2008 season. Lia sits third 37 points behind leader Colin Braun and 11 points behind second-place Brian Scott.
NationRides.com will be an associate sponsor of the No. 81 RMM Chevrolet's for the remaining races of the 2008 season.
Crew chief Eric Phillips has picked chassis No. 101 for the race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The same chassis was run at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in September and Atlanta Motor Speedway in October. The RMM team finished 10th at Las Vegas and 17th in Atlanta with Donny Lia behind the wheel.
ON HOMESTEAD: "I have some experience at Homestead as I ran it last year. It was a lot to take in though as it was my first start on a 1.5-mile track. I definitely made some gains that day and learned quite a bit. Hopefully I can take what I learned there and apply this weekend. I am definitely optimistic going there this week as we are taking what we learned at Vegas, Atlanta and Texas and making some changes to our truck that should help my driving style."
ON HIS FIRST SEASON IN THE NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES: "My first season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has definitely had its ups and downs. I have some memories that I will never forget like winning my first race at Mansfield and some other memories that I can't forget soon enough. Overall though I am very happy and feel very fortunate to be able to compete at this level of motorsports."
ON HIS THOUGHTS OF FINISHING THE YEAR AT RMM: "I couldn't be happier to run these last five races with Randy Moss Motorsports. It was an opportunity that came along just at the right time for me and has worked out so well. We always make big improvements at the race track and everyone gets along great. It is really an amazing organization from the top down with Randy (Moss) and David (Dollar) to each and everyone at the shop. It'd be a pretty long list to mention here but I have to thank everyone at RMM for making me feel welcome, and for all the hard work and dedication that goes into each and every No. 81 Chevy Silverado that we take to the track."
CO-OWNER DAVID DOLLAR: "It's hard to believe we are ready to wrap up the season this weekend in Homestead. We've had a lot of changes with the addition of Randy Moss this year and are looking forward to an exciting 2009 season. Donny (Lia) has done a great job for us in these final races of the 2008 season. I want to thank him for all his hard work and dedication he has put toward the Randy Moss Motorsports team. We are excited about great things to come next season and can't wait to get back on track in Daytona with the No. 81 RMM Chevrolet."
