BRENDAN GAUGHAN (No. 62 Orleans Racing Dodge Ram)
"We had a Dodge that could have won the championship. Shane Wilson and the team take good care of me. They give me good Dodge trucks and fast Dodge trucks. We'll end up second, third or fourth in the championship and for a team based out of Las Vegas, that's not half bad.
"I have the best team in the Craftsman Truck Series. I love 'em to death. They are the best. I think we proved today that nobody could beat us. We were fast. We ran this entire year unsponsored. Dodge and American Racing Wheels were the only two that gave us money this year. I'm proud of the Orleans Racing team. I love these guys to death. The championship trophy belongs in a Dodge this year.
"We won't cry over spilled milk. We're going to rebuild our Dodges and come back stronger and nobody is going to touch us next year. We went through two motors this weekend, and we were smoking the field. Nobody could touch us today unless something stupid happened.
"Craftsman Truck Series teams are awesome. You've got 36 teams out there right now, and the full-time guys are awesome. We put on a hell of a show again. It's probably going to be the race of the weekend again. Things happen in racing. That's why it's never over until it's over. It's a shame it happened like it happened."
TED MUSGRAVE (No. 1 Mopar Performance Dodge Ram)
"I don't know what to say really. You've got a restart there, and Travis must not be good at restarts or he's the smartest (expletive) in the world. He nailed the brakes and I had to turn left to avoid him, knowing it's going to draw a penalty. All I can say is next year you're going to see a whole new Ted Musgrave. He's going to be the dirtiest son of a gun out there on the racetrack, and you might as well throw that rulebook away. I ain't going by it no more."
