Hamilton and Montgomery Form BHR2 in Craftsman Truck Series

MOUNT JULIET, TN (February 10, 2004) -- Bobby Hamilton Racing (BHR) is pleased to announce a joint-ownership program in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. In essence, BHR2 will serve as the third BHR team with business management, team organization and sponsorship procurement functions performed by Montgomery Motorsports.

BHR2 will operate out of the Montgomery Motorsports facility in Lebanon, TN, just a few miles from Hamilton's location in Mt. Juliet, TN.

20-year-old Chase Montgomery, will pilot the #8 Dodge and enjoy the benefits of sharing technology with both Hamilton and Chad Chaffin.

Longtime Montgomery Motorsports Team Manager, Keith Batson, will lead BHR2 performance efforts while Randy Seals moves over from Bobby Hamilton Racing to serve as Crew Chief. Seals worked for a portion of the 2003 season with Chaffin. The remainder of the team will be comprised of Montgomery Motorsports crewmembers, which have worked with Chase in the ARCA Series.

In 2004, owner Bobby Hamilton is focused on making history. He'll continue to drive his familiar #4 Square D Dodge, along with second-year driver Chad Chaffin in the #18 Dickies Dodge and Montgomery driving the #8 BHR2 effort.

"Our goal is to have all three trucks in the top-ten of the final standings and capture a Championship," said Hamilton, "This new alliance will bring us one step closer."
