Bobby Hamilton Jr. signs one race deal with Green Light Racing and Owner Bobby Dotter for Season Opener at Daytona

(MOUNT JULIET, TN) - Green Light Racing is announcing it will join forces with Cup Series Veteran Bobby Hamilton Jr. for a one-race deal at the 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 17th. Hamilton will pilot the No. 08 Dodge.

Hamilton Jr. has five NCTS starts and has made the most of his limited time in the series. He has two top-five finishes and has led in three of his NCTS starts for a total of 135 laps in truck series competition, narrowly missing wins at Darlington and Nashville. Hamilton Jr. also has an impressive five NASCAR Busch Series wins in his career.

The season opening race under the lights at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 17th will be the first of 25 races on 22 separate racetracks across the United States for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. All of the NCTS events will be broadcast live nationally on the Speed Channel.
