2004 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES CHAMP TO FEATURE UNIQUE PAINT SCHEME HONORING SPECIAL OLYMPICS TIE-IN

(MT. JULIET, TN) --2004 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Bobby Hamilton has joined forces with TECH-NET Professional Automotive Service (www.technetprofessional.com) and the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics (www.specialolympics.org). Hamilton will drive a uniquely designed TECH-NET Professional Auto Service/Law Enforcement Torch Run No. 04 Dodge created to help raise awareness and funding for the Special Olympics in the UAW-GM Ohio 250 at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway on Sunday May 15th.

"This is a great cause and we are honored to be a part of it," Hamilton said. "The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is the movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle. The Special Olympics helps countless individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Thanks to the support from TECH-NET Professional members, all of us at Bobby Hamilton Racing can be involved with this extremely worthy cause."

Hamilton is currently second in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings heading into the series' next event. The Mansfield race marks his initial partnership with TECH-NET Professional, which has 4,600 Automotive Service Centers nationwide. Qualified technicians at TECH-NET Professional Auto Service Centers uphold the industry's highest standards and offer consumers automotive services at a reasonable cost. The Centers utilize quality CARQUEST Auto Parts, guaranteed coast-to-coast.

"Much like Bobby Hamilton, the professionals at TECH-NET Professional Auto Service Centers lead the way. TECH-NET is proud of its association with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Through our partnership with Bobby Hamilton Racing, we hope to bring additional awareness to this great cause," said Mike DeSorbo, Director of Market Segments for CARQUEST Corporation.

The UAW-GM Ohio 250 is the only NASCAR touring series event held annually in the state of Ohio and is headed for a second consecutive sell-out. The event will be broadcast live on the Speed Channel, XM Satellite Radio and MRN Radio on Sunday May 15th at 2:00pm ET. A special collectors limited edition 1/24th scale die cast of Bobby Hamilton's No. 04 TECH-NET/Law Enforcement Torch Run Dodge will be available at CARQUEST Auto Parts stores later this summer.
