Nazareth, Pa. August 14, 2001 NASCAR Busch Series championship contender Greg Biffle will return to Nazareth Speedway August 25-26 to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series' "Chevy Silverado 200" driving Jack Roush's No. 99 Eldon Ford F-150.
Biffle, who sits in second place behind Kevin Harvick in the Busch Series point standings, recorded a win earlier this year at Nazareth Speedway in the NASCAR Busch Series race. He joined Winston Cup driver Ron Hornaday as the only drivers that have won in both NASCAR divisions (Busch Series and Craftsman Trucks) at the one-mile Nazareth oval. No driver has accomplished that feat in the same year.
"Man I would love to get another win in the truck series," said Biffle, a 14-time Craftsman Truck Series winner. "I have two wins at Nazareth, one this year in the Busch car and another a few years back in the Roush truck. It's a place that I have always run well. Another win there would be special.
"We are not chasing points so this is all about winning the race," continued the 2000 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion.
The "Chevy Silverado 200" will mark Biffle's last Craftsman Truck Series appearance of the year.
