Geoffrey Bodine, injured in the scary accident in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race Friday, remained in the Halifax Medical Center intensive care unit in serious but stable condition. He had no surgeries scheduled, and doctors gave no indication of when he would be released.

The one fan injured in the truck race accident who remained in the hospital Saturday night - a man who had surgery for a broken left arm - was released from the medical center at 10 a.m. so he could attend the Daytona 500. He had tickets, but the speedway upgraded him to the Daytona Club suites according to the Daytona News-Journal.
