Roush Racing announced today that the operation of its two-truck program with drivers Jon Wood and Carl Edwards - the two most recent winners in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series - will continue on a full-time basis for the reminder of the 2003 season. Greg Specht, Manager of Performance Operations for Ford Racing Technology, commented on today's announcement and the impact it will have on Ford Racing's truck series efforts.

GREG SPECHT, Manager, Performance Operations, Ford Racing Technology -

"That's fantastic news, really fantastic. I'm so pleased that they've decided to continue for the rest of the season because the whole Roush Racing organization has become so competitive in recent races and it would be a shame to step out now. With the truck championship race so close, and with the way they're running, there's no reason both Jon and Carl can't be competing for the title when the Ford Championship Weekend comes around in November. This is a real shot-in-the-arm for Ford, and for the truck series."
