We Will Take It: "You take a top five finish whenever you can get them. Sometimes it is just finding the right package and putting all the details in place. I like racing atAuto Club Speedway and have one of the longest records of competing there. You would like to think you can go toa race track and get a top five every time, but not every driver out there can. There are so many factors beyond your control and sometimes the cards just don't play out right. Going into everyrace we feel as though we have the best shot at winning, and the rest of the details work themselves out as the race plays out."
We're Hungry: "I really feel good about this team. Last year they ran so well in California. I did too. So now that we are putting that combination together I truly feel as though the chances of us running in the top five again all day, or winning the race arevery strong. I have so much confidencein them, and they believe in me. We are hungry this year for wins. You will seeit from us, we are all confident of that."
Coming Off of a High: "We are coming off a huge high from Daytona. You know when you run well there is an old saying, 'It doesn't matter how hard you worked, how many overtimehours you put in or how far away your hotel is...if yourun well that is all erased.' It is true, we are all racers and we don't come to the track to finish second, we come to win. This weekend in California we have a great shot atdoing just that."
