MIAMI (February 23, 2000) – The first 100 fans through the gates for Saturday’s Florida Dodge Dealers 400 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway will receive a free ride around the 1.5-mile oval in a Dodge pace truck.

Gates for the event will open at 9 a.m., and the first 100 fans will get coupons, which can be redeemed near the pedestrian tunnel. The rides will begin at 9:15 a.m., and will run through 11 a.m. Each of the 100 fans can bring along one guest for their pace truck ride.

Saturday’s racing begins with the Miami 150 for the NASCAR Slim Jim All Pro Series at 1:30 p.m., with the Florida Dodge Dealers 400 taking the green flag at 3:30 p.m. Unreserved grandstand tickets for Saturday’s event cost $25, with children 12 and under $15.

Practice for both races begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, with qualifying beginning at 3 p.m. Friday tickets cost $10, with children 12 and under admitted free.
