Lagasse Jr. on Dover: "The one thing I remember about Dover is it is a fast race track. To the average person it does not seem very fast, but it is a different story from the driver's seat. It is unique it has a concrete surface. Concrete tracks are known for their grip and they are not as sensitive to weather conditions as some tracks. Last year, I qualified well for the Busch race, but got caught up in a wreck early on. I am looking forward to returning to Dover and my expectations are higher this time around. Two years ago Bobby Hamilton Racing won the race and with my experience on the track I expect us to be a force to reckon with."
Racer's Lack of Luck: "I am not a big believer in luck. I think your choices create your destiny. I know that is true on the race track, but lately I feel like we have been making great choices and things are still going wrong. I am officially plagued by the tire devil. It seems like at some point in every race we have tire trouble. It always happens right when you have cracked the top 10 or top 15. The only good part about it is I am learning how to work my way through traffic a lot. This past weekend in Mansfield I went to the back three times and worked my way back into the top 20 every time. If we have tire problems at Dover I am going to have to go out and search for me a new good luck charm."
Speed Counts: "We realize we are facing a challenge heading into Dover with the owner point's situation. You never get use to the idea of having to possibly go home from a race. The pressure is there, but it is nothing we can not overcome as a team. I have lots of confidence in this team and they have confidence in me. We will go to Dover with the same mind set we have had over the past few weeks, to come home with a solid finish and the truck in one piece."
