Sandusky, OHIO (August 30, 2001) - For Matt Crafton and the rest of the No. 88 SealMaster Racing team, having a weekend off from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series means spending the holidays with the ones they love - at a race track.

Matt Crafton, driver of the No. 88 XeSightingSystems.com Silverado, and Jerry Cook, crew chief of the No. 88 truck, will race against each other this weekend in the Jasper Engines 200 Iceman Series at Sandusky Speedway. The series is open to a late models.

"I've seen Jerry race and I'll be lucky to end the race in one piece," stated Matt Crafton, 2000 Champion of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. "The money they are giving away this weekend will have a lot of racers gunning for the finish line."

The two comrades they have had an eventful year in the truck series capturing nine top-10 finishes and overcoming a few minor technical hurdles. Both drivers have grown up with fathers who have raced as well as other family members. Earlier in the season, Crafton and Cook were able to switch places where as Cook raced his late-model and Crafton spotted for him. This Saturday marks the first time the two racers will be able to race against each other.

After this weekend, the two drivers will return to their "day jobs" and head to Richmond, Virginia for the next NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. Live coverage of the Kroger 200 can been seen on ESPN starting at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6th. MRN radio broadcast will begin at 7:30 p.m.
