Chevrolet Silverado Clinches NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Manufacturers' Championship
Sixth Title for Chevy Bowtie in Series' 11 Year History

DETROIT - Chevrolet Silverado clinched a sixth NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Manufacturers' Championship when Kyle Busch won the EasyCare Vehicle Service Contracts 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on October 29, 2005. It was the third win of the 2005 season for Busch in the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Silverado.

With the 11th NCTS season just three races from conclusion, Chevrolet Silverado has collected 10 victories in 22 races. Five teams and drivers have contributed to the 2005 success of Silverado including: Dennis Setzer, No. 46 Chevrolet Silverado (4); Kyle Busch, No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Silverado (3); Ron Hornaday, No. 6 GM Goodwrench Silverado (1); Bobby Labonte, No. 47 Chevrolet All Star Silverado (1) and Jack Sprague, No. 16 Chevy Trucks Silverado (1).

Chevrolet Silverado has won 45.5% of the possible 264 NCTS races since the series' inception with 110 victories. Chevrolet Silverado drivers have won eight of the 10 possible NCTS driver championships in addition to holding the majority of the manufacturers' titles.

ED PEPER, CHEVROLET GENERAL MANAGER: "Chevrolet is proud to be the winningest name in racing. Our continued dominating performance in NASCAR is the result of many hours of hard work and dedication from all the men and women on our Chevy race teams. A strong on track performance by our Silverado race teams helps to generate the same strong performance in the marketplace. We are pleased with everyone's efforts to keep the Chevy bowtie out front on and off the track."

MARK KENT, DIRECTOR OF GM RACING: "I am proud of the accomplishments of our Chevrolet Silverado teams in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. With three races remaining, is an impressive accomplishment to clinch Chevrolet's sixth manufacturer championship. The efforts put forth by the five teams and drivers as well as the GM racing staff to capture this title is a testimony to how committed everyone involved is to continuing the dominance Chevrolet has enjoyed in racing for several years."

KYLE BUSCH, DRIVER NO. 15 BILLY BALLEW MOTORSPORTS SILVERADO: "It is great for everyone at Billy Ballew Motorsports that this win helped clinch the championship for Chevrolet. I have had a blast racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this year and we have had tremendous success in our Silverado. We have just eight starts this year and have gotten three wins, a second place and several top-five finishes. I am proud to be associated with Billy Ballew and everyone on this team and proud we were able to put period on the manufacturers' title for Chevrolet."

DENNIS SETZER, DRIVER NO. 46 CHEVROLET SILVERADO: "I am very pleased that all of us involved in the Team Silverado program were able to deliver the NCTS Manufacturers' championship to Chevrolet. There has been a great deal of work by many people to give us the advantages we have in our Silverado race trucks. I am very proud to be a part of the Silverado program."
