BUESCHER AT CHARLOTTE... Buescher has made one career start at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway (CMS), which came last season (2009) in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. After a loose qualifying effort that placed Buescher in the 14th starting position, the then-Raybestos Rookie of the Year Candidate ran inside the top-10 for the majority of the event, before crossing the finish line in 12th-place. Buescher completed every lap of competition (134/134) in his first race at "The Beast of the Southeast."

CAREER-BEST FINISH... Last week at Dover, Buescher recorded his career-best finish in NASCAR competition, by wheeling his No. 31 Wolf Pack Rentals Chevrolet to a second-place effort. In addition, Buescher's Turner Motorsports teammate, Ricky Carmichael, also scored his career-best finish in NASCAR with his fourth-place result in the No. 4 Monster Energy Chevrolet.

FIRST OF MANY... A short three weeks ago at Kansas Speedway, Turner Motorsports debuted a second truck, the No. 31 Chevrolet with Buescher behind the wheel. The Texas native ran inside the top-five until a late-race pit stop for fuel cost the team the finish they deserved. Last week at Dover, Buescher and his team put themselves in position to capitalize on other's mistakes and cross the finish line in second-place -- in only their second race together. Buescher's efforts allowed the Mooresville, N.C.-based team to score its first top-five finish.

CHASSIS INFORMATION... Crew chief Michael Shelton has chosen Turner Motorsport chassis No. 11 for Buescher to run at Charlotte this weekend. Chassis No. 11 has raced once before, earlier this month at Kansas Speedway, where Buescher ran as high as the second position before running out of fuel with a handful of laps remaining. This particular Chevrolet has a Kevin Harvick Inc. body on the Leavitt chassis.

FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL:

BUESCHER (On racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway): "I'm really looking forward to going to Charlotte this weekend, especially after coming off our strong performance in Dover. My Turner Motorsports team has done a great job in our two races together and it's fun to go to the racetrack again. When you are able to run up front and be competitive each week, it allows mine and the team's moral to stay upbeat. Charlotte is a very fast racetrack and with the new restart format, you can have a problem and still have time to get back to the front. It used to be harder on mile-and-a-half tracks to get your track position back since we were all in one line. It's going to be a fun race and I'm confident that our Wolf Pack Rentals Chevrolet can be up front once again."
