Starr on Racing at Lowe's Motor Speedway:

"To win at Charlotte, you have to have a good handling truck and a lot of horsepower under the hood. NASCAR is such a team sport that to win, the driver has to be on top his game and the pit crew has to have good stops every time. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has become so competitive that having a good pit stop has really become critical. If you can pick up two or three spots in the pits and not have to worry about making up positions on the track, it really helps. The Red Horse Racing crew has really been on top of their game this year, and that has been a huge asset to me."

"I'm really looking forward to Charlotte because of the new racing surface. They've re-paved the race track, and I think it might make for an even better race there on Friday night. I've talked to a lot of people about the new surface, and they tell me that it's going to be fast. I think the test on Thursday will really help everybody figure out what the track is going to do and what the truck will need. That will help us get dialed in for the race on Friday night. I think that we have the truck and the team to really have a good opportunity to visit victory lane."

Career at Lowe's Motor Speedway:

Starr has three career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts at Lowe's Motor Speedway. He captured the pole at Charlotte in 2004, the same year he scored his best finish at the track -- a third-place finish.
