"I'm pleased with our qualifying effort, of course. I was pleased with the second hour of practice. I was not pleased with the first hour of practice. We panicked a little bit there, and we had some issues. Cowboy Starland and the whole Circle Bar Truck Corral crew shows how strong they are and made our qualifying lap look really good."
"I think the line is about the same. I think the line got wider. Before you would practice, and if you were running a really fast lap you had to hit your marks basically like a road course. But if you're running a real fast lap now you can search around and it doesn't really hurt it."
"From Circle Car Racing's perspective, we test at Daytona. Daytona is the biggest race of the year for the truck, I feel. I had some success there and really put out a large effort and when Daytona is over, which didn't take very long this year, but when Daytona is over you start looking at races of more importance and the next one that comes to mind is Lowe's. You want to win here at home. This is home for a lot of teams, and it's home for us. It would be very important for Rick Crawford to have a victory at Lowe's Motor Speedway on his resume. I've won at a lot of places on short tracks and a lot of big places in the trucks and I want to win here. Don't get me wrong, I don't overlook any of the other races. They pay the same amount of points no matter if it was Mansfield, Ohio, or Las Vegas. But, I look at Lowe's being our next focus and we're certainly looking forward to Texas because it is the home of my owner. That's our home race track."
