BROOKLYN, Mich. - With qualifying cancelled due to rain, Matt Crafton will start 18th in the Michigan 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Michigan International Speedway Saturday, July 27. The lineup was set using current series owners' points. The No. 88 Menards/ColorPave Chevrolet ranks 18th in those point standings.

Crafton did participate in a pair of practice sessions at the high-banked two-mile oval Friday afternoon. It was the first time he'd driven at the Michigan track.

"We're still searching for the right setup," Crafton said. "We're putting our heads together right now to figure out what we have to do to get better in the race. We're not happy with how things went in the final practice."

Crafton posted the 16th-fastest lap among the 35 trucks that participated in the final practice session. His best lap was 42.712 seconds (168.571 miles per hour). Ted Musgrave, who will start on the Michigan 200 pole, posted the fastest lap of the session (41.846/172.059).

The Michigan 200 is scheduled for 1 p.m. EDT/10 a.m. PDT Saturday, July 27. The race will be telecast live on ESPN and the radio affiliates of the Motor Racing Network.
