* Peters at Bristol...The O'Reilly 200 will mark Timothy Peters fifth Camping World Truck Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway. In four previous starts Peters best finish came in 2005 when he finished 19th. He also earned two top-15 starts; he started 12th in 2006 and eighth in 2008.
* Making History...In recent weeks Timothy Peters has been making a little history of his own. In July he earned his career best finish of fourth at Kentucky Speedway and then backed up that fourth place finish with a repeat performance in Nashville. He also earned his first NASCAR career pole at Nashville Superspeedway. In his first six races with Red Horse Racing, Peters and his #17 team have earned four top-10 finishes, including two top-fives. Despite the instant success, Peters is hungry to make his first trip to Victory Lane.
* New Truck Chief with Championship Past...Richie Snyder took over as truck chief on the #17 team before Kentucky Speedway and he knows what it takes to be a champion. It's his first time serving as a full time truck chief but Synder was a part of Johnny Benson's Championship team in 2008. Snyder got his start in racing more than 10 years ago when he was working on Late Models. The first year Toyota joined the NASCAR ranks, Snyder also made the transition, taking a job at Bill Davis Racing. He built suspension, served as fill-in truck chief and honed his skills as a Gas Man. He joined RHR in Dec 2008 and acts as both Truck Chief and Gas Man for Timothy Peters. Snyder says Bristol Motor Speedway is one of his favorite tracks because everything happens so fast and keeps you on the edge of your seat each and every lap. He is no stranger to Bristol's Victory Lane, he was part of 2007's winning crew.
Timothy Peters on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway "I have loved going to Bristol ever since my first time there in 2005. It's like Orange County Speedway on Steroids and I won championships at Orange Country in 2002 and 2003. We've been running really well lately and that makes you really look forward to each race. Hopefully we can get another solid finish and get even closer to getting our first win."
Crew Chief Chad Kendrick on Bristol Motor Speedway "We are coming off of a concrete race track and going to another concrete race track at Bristol and that is a really good thing for us. Timothy is most comfortable on concrete tracks and I think that will give him the extra confidence he needs for Bristol. This should be a good race for our entire team. TJ had success last year at Bristol last year and Timothy runs well there so I look for it to be a good night for Red Horse Racing."
Equipment Information Timothy Peters will compete with chassis # 73 in the O'Reilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway. This is the same chassis Johnny Benson raced at Texas Motor Speedway where he started 15th and finished fourth.
