* Welcome Back Exide... The No. 5 Randy Moss Motorsports Toyota Tundra team welcomes Exide Batteries back to the hood of their Toyota Tundra for the O'Reilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Skinner will kick off the week touring the Exide Technologies Battery Plant in Bristol, Tenn., on Tuesday afternoon. During the visit he will meet the Exide employees, take photos, and sign autographs before returning to the track to prepare for the 200-lap race. This is the Georgia-based company's second year partnering with the No. 5 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team.
* Skinner Races Up Front at Bristol... Mike Skinner is the all-time lap leader at Bristol Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and looks to continue that streak on Wednesday night. The driver of the No. 5 Exide Batteries Toyota Tundra has led 509 laps around the "World's Fastest Half-Mile," meaning that he has paced the field for nearly one-third of his career laps at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Mike Skinner on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway
"I can't wait to get back to Bristol [Motor Speedway]. It is a track where I have led a lot of laps and have been very competitive in the past. I hope we can use this race to help turn around our season. We got caught up in a wreck last weekend that was out of our hands, but we need some top-five and top-three finishes to get our season headed back in the direction that we're accustomed to. Hopefully we can do that on Wednesday night at Bristol [Motor Speedway]."
Crew Chief Stacy Johnson on competing at Bristol Motor Speedway
"We're excited to get the No. 5 Exide Batteries Toyota Tundra on track at Bristol Motor Speedway. It is one of [Mike] Skinner's best tracks and we're looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish there. We had a strong truck last weekend in Darlington and it's just unfortunate that we didn't get a better finish to show for it. Hopefully we can turn our luck around for the last 10 races of the season."
