KYLE BUSCH, No. 51 Miccosukee Resorts Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports Finished: 1st
How surprised that you were the only one on pit road when the caution fell with 18 laps to go?
"I was surprised that nobody followed me, and Ron (Hornaday) didn't come down. Normally, you do what the leader does, but I think Richie (Waters, crew chief) made a great call coming down pit road for those four tires. I have to thank Miccosukee for coming on board this week. We're trying to get Billy Ballew a major sponsor -- so if you really want to help out, we'll take it. The guys on pit road did a great job tonight. We had the hood up on the truck. We had the track bar down eight rounds. We had four rounds in the left rear. I don't even know what else we did."
Can you talk about the children you had watching you tonight?
"The Kyle Busch Foundation and M&Ms donated tickets to tonight's race to some kids so they could come out and watch us race. I'm glad we were able to win it for them. I dedicate it to them. They were a lot of fun to hang out with on Thursday, when we were able to visit and hang out with them. That is what makes it happen for me."
How were you able to get the truck to stick down on the apron for a few of your moves?
"There were a couple of apron shots, but you have to go where they're not. I went down there and it stuck. I tried to make a move on the apron in turn three, but that was a little stupid. I'm glad the 6 truck (Colin Braun) ended up being all right. I'm not sure if he had problems or not, but all of a sudden I just had nowhere to go. I either was going to run into the back of him or go low, so I tried going low but edged up on him a little bit and turn him sideways."
